Speaking during the handover ceremony, Seed Global Health – Malawi Country Director, Anda Nyondo, emphasized that this equipment will provide students with practical experience before they begin working with patients.

She said: “We prioritize investing in human resources, particularly in the health sector, to support and enhance the capabilities of healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, and midwives.

“This initiative will enhance the quality of health workers trained in the country, aligning with the government’s goal to produce high-caliber health service providers.”

On his part, Fanuel Lampiao official from the university commended Seed Global Health for the donation as the equipment will be used in the skills laboratory.

“Medical education comes with a significant cost, and there are instances when the necessary teaching equipment is not readily available. We anticipate that this donation will play a vital role in supporting us to deliver quality education by addressing these resource challenges,” he said.
